ECMC 2010

ECMC 2010 Budapest

Blind

Blind

Blind
I couldn’t see anything as I was taking these photos. I was walking around on the Wiener Stephansplatz for fifteen minutes with my eyes taped with gaffer.

You can watch a video of whole experiment from my point of view. The audio was recorded from a microphone strapped to my head, which gives you an impression of the only thing I could rely on: sound.
Well, there also was Fabian watching over me from a distance, protecting me from falling down a staircase or getting run over by a carriage.

Bernhard’s lovely post dedicated to his blind friends inspired me to dig this out.

Be sure to watch this in fullscreen with HD turned on and the volume cranked up.

Ahoy!

The sausage dog greets you
I’ll just put this wiener dog here. Commercials often use children or dogs or both to create attention, and what works in advertising totally works for me.

Another reason for the lovely dachshund in my first entry is that I’m stuck far away from home and my data right now, so I could just choose from six unrelated photos. As always, the cutest wins.

Euer Simon
