Retrospect
Der erste Besuch seit vierzehn Jahren. Als Kind ging ich hier oft mit meinen Eltern spazieren. Alles wirkt nun viel kleiner, als ich es in Erinnerung hatte.
ECMC 2010
Als mich Viktor von Spinning Circle letztes Jahr auf die European Cycle Messenger Championships nach Budapest mitnahm, hatte ich gerade erst drei Wochen als Fahrradbote gearbeitet. Ein sprichwörtlich blutiger Anfänger mit einem versauten Mountainbike unter Fixie- und Singlespeed-Schönheitsköniginnen.
Heuer : ECMC in Madrid, CMWC in Warschau und die OERM bei Tom in Linz.

I couldn’t see anything as I was taking these photos. I was walking around on the Wiener Stephansplatz for fifteen minutes with my eyes taped with gaffer.
You can watch a video of whole experiment from my point of view. The audio was recorded from a microphone strapped to my head, which gives you an impression of the only thing I could rely on: sound.
Well, there also was Fabian watching over me from a distance, protecting me from falling down a staircase or getting run over by a carriage.
Bernhard’s lovely post dedicated to his blind friends inspired me to dig this out.
